THE BENEFITS OF NURSERY SCHOOL
The two primary benefits of attending nursery school are learning social skills and acquiring and practising basic knowledge skills that will serve as the foundation for your child’s future learning.
Our program will allow your child the opportunity to meet others and learn all about making friends. They will learn to share, wait, cooperate, take turns, help out, clean up, and follow routines in their classroom community.
Through play, songs, exploration and activities your child will develop basic knowledge skills that will help prepare them for Kindergarten. Letters, numbers, colours, shapes, opposites, matching, fine motor activities, sequencing, singing, listening, counting and more - our program fosters a positive outlook toward learning as a lifelong opportunity.
We consider preschool children to be aged 3, 4 and 5 years old. Children are eligible for registration in our preschool program if they have turned or will turn 3 years old by the end of December in the current academic year. We accept children that are 5 years old if they have turned 5 during the preschool academic year or if they are registered in half time Kindergarten.
